What AMANA makes possible

You don’t have to
do it alone.

An introduction, a fresh perspective or someone to think it through with. We bring together people who can help each other move forward.

New connections.

Meet entrepreneurs and professionals beyond your own circle, across regions and languages.

Shared experience.

Ask a question, share what you know and learn from people who have taken a different path.

Forward together.

A contact, some advice or a fresh perspective. Discover what you can offer each other.

What we’re building together

In preparation

A place for members.

We’re working on a platform with profiles, an agenda, the Souk for requests and offers, and the Madrassa for learning and mentorship.

Our plan for Majlis

One question. One table.

Small groups around one real question. Ninety minutes to share experiences and leave with a fresh insight and a concrete action.

Where we come from

They built
a life here.

Nobody did it alone.

Our grandparents and parents came to Belgium to work. They built a life and helped each other along the way: with a meal, a tip, a door that opened. Our mothers and grandmothers often held everything together.

Today we run businesses, study and build careers. We speak Dutch, French, English, Arabic and Berber. AMANA brings those people and that experience together. One network for the whole of Belgium.

How AMANA began

A first gathering.
A shared direction.

November 2025

Nine people. One tajine.

Nine volunteers from across Belgium sat around one table. They shared one belief: we need a network that can carry on beyond the people who started it.

April 2026 · Chapter One

Listening first.

In Antwerp, we invited thirty people to think with us. They shared what they needed and what they wanted to contribute. Their honest feedback gave AMANA its direction.
